(Still no news on work permits, but, with a funky construction in the paperwork I am still legally allowed to work on my expired work permit as long as I am waiting for an answer on the new permit.)
In the mean time, I had to kill some time so what better to do then camping with friends? When the weather finally turned a bit dryer we drove to Pigeon Lake and enjoyed a totally deserted huge campground all by ourselves. The season really just starts half of June, or even later.
Nothing but making fire, keeping the fire going, cooking on the fire and warming up by the fire. Basically that's all we did. Oh, and we were the only customers of the ice cream shop I guess.
We also tried to fish, but unfortunately failed to catch any dinner. Luckily the just-in-case-hotdogs were pretty good too.
